The Wiener Johann Strauss Capelle was estblished by Johann Strauss (1804-1849) in Vienna in 1827. The orchestra served the Strauss family until the end of the legendary dynasty. It will be a true pleasure for the listeners to hear the waltzes, polkas and extracts of operettas, performed in the unique Viennese style, just as they were performed for the first time conducted by Johann Strauss himself and composed for the Wiener Johann Strauss Capell. The orchestra will also wear the festive uniforms from Strauss's time.
