In winter, when the sea and the river are covered in ice and people are once again donning their skates and skis, Pärnu attracts people from all over. The city's Ice Festival brings the summery buzz back to the wintry resort and fills it with 10 days of activity and excitement. Here you will find snow and ice, sports and excursions, music and dance, theatre and workshops, snow picnics and sleigh rides, and to top everything off, Estonia's birthday. The festival has something for everyone, whatever your age. Contributing to the organisation of the festival are companies and organisations connected to the Pärnu County and Estonian tourist industries, as well as creative individuals, schools and associations.
